How to Tie the Doubled Fly Line Loop

1. Fold over the end of the fly line until about two inches overlap. Tie a speed nail knot using fine diameter nylon monofilament 1/2 inch from the end of the loop around both pieces of the fly line(.008' to .010" diameter monofilament works best). Trim both ends of the nail knot.

2. Tie a second speed nail knot in the same manner one inch from the end of the fly line loop. Trim the ends.
