How to Finish on a Parachute Post (55 of 57)
For the last four weeks, Tim has been demonstrating different methods for creating a stable, upright post for a Parachute pattern: the traditional method, the 90-degree method, the UV-resin method, and the needle method. In today’s video, he shows you how to finish the fly on the post itself, rather than behind the hook eye. This way, you don’t have to worry about trapping a bunch of hackle fibers when you whip-finish, and it makes for a much cleaner fly.
