20. Gaining Confidence In Euro Nymphing (20 of 20)

Learning to catch trout with the Euro Nymphing technique is almost like learning to fish all over again. And I really enjoyed learning a new skill and getting outside of my comfort zone. With George's guidance, I've finally put it all together in conditions where I never would have thought I'd be very successful. Here's a fish. Here we go. Here's a nice, decent fish by the head shakes. And there's heavy water. There's riffle dumping in here. A little soft water on the side here. I was hoping there'd be something sitting in here and there was. It took the mop fly which has been the deadly fly for all of us. This little brown trout. Barbless hook in the roof of the mouth. So just grab him here. Keep him in the water and take that barbless hook out of his mouth. Beautiful fish. Beautiful little fish.
