Streamer fishing can be easy when the fish are on the bite—no fancy casts, no current drag to worry about. But streamers don’t work all the time.

Streamer fishing is so exciting, it's so visual, and it's violent, but it isn't always on. You would think you could just throw a streamer out here and a big brown trout, if he's around, would just jump on it. But that's not the case. Some days, a streamer bite is on, some days it's not. Luckily, today the streamer bite is on for us.
