You've just seen how easy fly fishing can be, and the principle is really
the same. Whether you're fishing for trout, bass, bluegills, pike,
bonefish, or even marlin or sailfish, you've got a rod, a reel, a line, and
the fly. It's just another form of fishing.
I'm not going to lie to you and tell you that it's the easiest thing you've
ever done, but I bet it's a lot easier than you think.
So keep it simple at first. Concentrate on basic techniques and worry about
all that extra gear later. Just get out there and catch some fish at a
local pond, and see how much fun fly fishing can be.
